OUCH!

Could we get a little more hurt in the movie business?

This is from imdb news.

James Bond Stuntman Seriously Injured After Crash
A stuntman working on the new James Bond movie Quantum Of Solace has been left with serious head injuries, after yet another onset car accident. Aris Comninos was driving the Alfa Romeo on a small and windy road near Lake Garda in northern Italy, when he lost control of the vehicle and smashed into a wall. Comninos was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Verona, where he has undergone surgery for his injuries. Another stuntman sustained minor injuries after the incident earlier this week. A spokesperson for the town of Limone sul Garda, where the 007 cast and crew have been shooting for the past fortnight, says the accident occurred during a car chase between Bond's Aston Martin and a truck. None of the cast members, nor director Marc Forster, were present at the time of the crash. Filming for the latest spy thriller, starring Daniel Craig as 007, has hit a number of setbacks. Just last Saturday, a limited edition Aston Martin sports car had to be fished out of Lake Garda after it skidded off a narrow road in torrential rain and plunged into the water. Producers were also criticized by the Bolivian government for allegedly "stereotyping" its people when they filmed scenes there, while filming in Chile was briefly halted when the town's mayor objected to the crew's presence.

7 Hurt in G.I. Joe Crash in Prague

Seven people were injured Saturday in a collision between a bus and several cars during the filming of G.I. Joe in the center of Prague, reports the AFP.

Video seen on the private Nova television channel showed the bus, and then other vehicles, being hit by an all-wheel-drive vehicle that appeared to have braking problems.

"It happened in a closed area that was rented out to the filmmakers for the weekend," said Prague police spokeswoman Eva Brozova.

Jirina Ernestova, spokeswoman for the emergency services, said the injured were treated in hospitals in the Czech capital.

"According to my information, there were only slight injuries," said David Minowski from the local production house Stilling Films.

You can view photos of the accident here and here.

G.I. Joe is scheduled for an August 7, 2009 release.
